The Junction Ground

Burwood United Football Club

Burwood United was formed in 1887 as Glebe Black Watch. It played on Redhead's Paddock across Glebe Road from Redhead's Hotel. When it moved to Burwood Cricket Ground, which is now Mitchell Park, the club changed its name to Burwood United. It then moved to The Junction Grounds, opposite St Joseph's Catholic Church at The Junction.
